New Year, New possibilities.

Welcome to 2012! My name is Colleen Bragg and I anticipate so many wonderful things happening this year! First and foremost, I expect that I will be moving to North Carolina with my boyfriend Sam to start my life over at the ripe old age of 24. Born and raised in Massachusetts, I have discovered that it is very difficult to start a career in New England because of the high cost of living. So, after meeting Sam, whose family lives in North Carolina, I am very happy to be adopting it as my new home. Once I get there, I will make an assessment of my life and decide whether or not to continue my medical training. Once I relocate, the sky is the limit for all the great things that I hope will happen – making new friends, getting to know new co-workers, and enjoying time with my new family.

In terms of work, I am hoping to find something that uses my retail management and customer service experience, but that also allows me to be creative and learn new skills. I have mad computer skills, including (but not limited to) most of the Windows applications. I am active on Facebook, Google+, and Twitter, and Skype is my favorite communication tool for real-time chatting. I would love to work in an environment that makes use of all those and introduces me to even more.

While most of my background has been medical office and retail sales work, I am very comfortable in a front office setting where I balance my time between support tasks and greeting the public. I realize that real estate is a new industry for me, but my uncle works in real estate and it seems like most of my skills would be transferable, and what isn’t I could learn very quickly. I do know that I would love helping people in their search for a new home. I can see Facebook and Twitter applications already, and I’m very excited that GoRealty uses Facebook regularly to help build referrals.

I feel that the real estate business is all about the customer. Whether they are buyers or sellers, they need agents and staff to listen to what they want or need in a new home or in selling their existing home. We need to be creative in how we present features and benefits, and very active in communicating with any potential clients during every step in the process. I enjoy being innovative and thinking of new ways to present things to a wide variety of personalities. I love greeting people and helping them feel comfortable from the minute they step through the door.

So, if you need a sweet, friendly face that is attached to a hard-working, detail-oriented body, look no further! I look forward to hearing more about the position at Go Realty-Holly Springs.
